Nanterre brioche is named from a city near Paris. It is baked in a standard bread loaf mold with two rows of small pieces of dough, which fuse during proofing process and rise even further in the oven. Brioche is a rich pastry with the extra addition of eggs, butter, liquid (milk, water, and cream) and occasionally a bit of sugar. Perfect for sandwiches, French toast, etc.
